Maybe the "HostOS" uses BSD code? Microsoft are supposed to be supporting 10.3 in their cloud product and upstreaming changes so maybe I didn't dream reading that the Xbox used it in some way. If you've not heard of Radare before, there's more information available on the website http://www.radare.org/r/ Next Wednesday, (January 18th) at the London Hack Space 447 Hackney Road London E2 9DY Try to get there after 7:30 for a 8pm start https://london.hackspace.org.uk/events/ Regards Sevan From mik at pc.dk Mon Jan 16 13:25:54 2017 From: mik at pc.dk (Martin Kristensen) Date: Mon, 16 Jan 2017 13:25:54 +0000 Subject: [Ukfreebsd] FreeBSD 11 on Dell XPS13 from 2014 Message-ID: <20170116132554.5506f243@omega> Hello all, Since I joined this group I have had a number of conversations with people about how to run FreeBSD on a laptop. I have written a rather lengthy article on installing FreeBSD 11 on my Dell XPS13 and thought I'd share it here. http://kristensen.info/resources/xps13.html The machine works beautifully for me and I'd highly recommend it for a FreeBSD laptop. Note however that it is 2014 model and has a haswell cpu. It shall be next week Wednesday 1 February at the Maypole. I expect to be there around 1900. Maybe next month I'll have enough time to organise this later than the last minute.... Andrew
