if your current router doesn't support bridge mode, get yourself a
prestige 660r, connect that up to an alix board with an atheros
wireless card installed

pfsense is a good choice if you want a web based management system
otherwise I'd stick with Open or FreeBSD

other option is to go for a cisco 877W (if you need Anex M, you need
to go for the M series which is considerably more, they can be picked
up fairly cheaply from ebay however)
