i dont remember Suse, but its always :
  <command> <switch> .....
i.e.
   ls   -al[switch]    ...path..         

even in windows or dos

you can  not do
  rm test -i, if you want to have a conformation for
the deletition.

as rm could work as 'rm  <file1> <file2> <file3>
<file4> .....'

 it will wipe out 'test' and then will try '-i'
