There are a number of issues with buying a computer
from a one off computer shop. The main ones would be

1. You could end up with a very low screen resolution.
It is unlikely that they will warranty the motherboard
for X-Windows or a graphics card.
2. It is unlikely that these shops will configure
X-Windows for you. This might be complex for some
users.
3. There will be no telephone support for the OS. We
will provide telephone based information on the
FreeBSD and also offer the users the chance to have
support on our site.

Bosworth-1 is simply our first move. Bosworth-2 is
under development for a release in September '06. It
is proposed to include sound/telephony, support of
BAPP/BAMP through a new 'Install from source'
downloader, plus the provision of keyboard and mice
and support of a nominated screen.

The offering at present is not perfect but I believe
it is a better deal than buying an 'OS not included'
machine and installing FreeBSD unless you have done
this before - in which case cost/function is likely to
be a significant part of the equation.

Thanks to everyone for their comments - we will be
pushing forward with this product over the coming
months.
