Hello list,

I'm writing an article on Free and Open Source Software use in
education for a computer magazine (can I mention Linux Format
on this list? ;^)

While I'm happy to hear more information about schools, what I'm
really missing is info on use at universities, along with the
political background to how decisions get made to go with
Windows or with free *nix - particularly on the desktop or
workstation.

If anyone has a spare 5 minutes to regale me with the situation
at Manchester, or elsewhere, I'd be grateful. :-)

Please use the cc address, particularly if replying off-list.

Many thanks,

 - Richard
