I'm getting the following error right after the bios memory detection while
attempting to install 5.4 from CD

acpi: bad RSDP checksum (224)

it then starts loading like a slow 386

Hardware:

Compaq Proliant 5500

2 processors 500 Xeon 2 meg cache

Compaq 4200 raid card

1 Gb Ram installed

All Bios revisions are up to date.

A quick Google shows this to have been a problem back on 5.0 release with
certain RAID cards while trying to install from CD. Anyone got any ideas as
I can't actually find any solutions on Google. I could I suppose always fall
back on the boot floppies and an ftp install but I thought I'd treat myself
and do it from CD as I've got 4 to do this weekend all the same hardware :-(

Regards

Kevin
