Actually I would say that the closest Linux distribution to FreeBSD, by far=
,=20
is Gentoo.

It's portage system is similar to FreeBSD's ports  and it also has the conc=
ept=20
of a "world". It's considerably more tedious to install  than FreeBSD thoug=
h=20
(at least it was a year ago).
