Today's Free Hardware

Today's free hardware is a Creative Dxr2 card CT7120.  Included is the VGA
passthrough cable.  Not included is anything else.

This is a PCI card designed for DVD decoding - it does MPEG in hardware so
you can play DVD's on a low spec PC.  It also does CSS on board.

There is a Linux driver and some work on a FreeBSD port:
