HELP: FreeBSD 5.2 crashing when doing fsck?

Anyway you can disable one of the CPUs and try a reboot? I have a dual 
233 compaq - I seem to remember similar problems with that and 5.1...I 
noticed that acpi/smp have got all tied together in the 5.2...so there 
must be a lot of smp code changing...have you compiled any system tools 
or are they all from packages?
