Ah, and there was me wanting to get another one in before the end of 2004.
Just that I really couldn't see much difference between what OpenStep offered
as a Unix and what vanilla 4.3 on a Vax or a Sun offered. I also can't see
a lot of difference between what I get from the command line on OSX and what
I get from the command line on the FreeBSD-4 box in front of me. All the
times I ever say 'hmm, with I had that here' on OSX it's invariably one
of the ports which I am after rather than some feature of the OS itself.

Wouldn't put it on a server mind you, but then I woldnt put BSD on my
desktop if I didnt have to. X11. Ewww.
