not in context, no. its using the same phrase the original questioner asked.

plus under FreeBSD (which *is* what we are talking about right?) the way to
not set an explicit gateway is not make a setting at all. You dont
put anything mentioning gateways in /etc/rc.conf. so the statement
that there shouldnt be a gateway setting for the BSD box is actually
accurate and more imortantly tells the guy what he has to change to make it
work
