What makes unix so good is that what it offers IS ancient.

Meaning, that because it has been around for so long, its a reliable technology.

M$ technologies change within 9 months, no real security or reliablity there.

I'd prefer to deposit my money with a 'unix bank' than an 'M$ bank', or fly in
a unix powered airplane than an M$ powered airplane.
