melt.server.pavilion.net is slow ?

While trying to work out why I don't get ~instant confirmation
of mail sent to various lists by the subscribed return of same:
I noticed melt.server.pavilion.net claims to receive mail before
it's been sent!

I guess all mail to this list comes that way so the proof should
be in the header fields.

Why isn't there a header field for when your ISPs pop3 server
makes ones mail available? Blueyonder's mail system is hopeless
these days.
