But of course that would be useless cause its /etc/ppp/ppp.conf ;)
Sorry!

Emailing the list a copy of your /etc/ppp.conf might help! Remember to =
edit the passwords out of course ;)

Subject: FreeBSD uk isp
Hello,
I'm new to FreeBSD and am enjoying the move towards an OS different from =
MS.=20
One small problem I've came up against though, is my current isp =
(BTopenworld) doesn't seem to like when I try and connect to them with =
my FreeBSD machine. Only 1 in every 4 occasions is successful. On the =
unsuccessful occasions a message 'No Carrier' eventually appears. =
However when I use my alternative isp (freeola) no problems occur, I get =
connected everytime, first time.
I would use freeola as my main isp but they don't do a monthly payment =
option, only a local rate/per minute one. I hope you don't mind, but =
because I assume most of you are based in the uk one of you may know a =
suitable isp.
thanks
