snmp problem

Hi

I installed net-snmp4 at the weekend (some people say
I need to get out more, but hey...) on my 4.6-STABLE
machine. I did the snmpconf thing (as described in the
excellent Michael Lucas 'Absolute BSD' book) and all
seemed to be well. However when I tried 'snmpwalk <my
host> <my community>' it barfed thus:

udp.ipv6UdpTable.ipv6UdpEntry.ipv6UdpLocalAddress.'................'.4505.0
= 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0
Error: OID not increasing:
udp.ipv6UdpTable.ipv6UdpEntry.ipv6UdpLocalAddress.'................'.4512.0
>=
udp.ipv6UdpTable.ipv6UdpEntry.ipv6UdpLocalAddress.'................'.4505.0

So I tried it with 'snmpwalk -C c xander sunnydale'
(which is supposed to supress the check for increasing
OIDs) and it got stuck in an apparently endless loop
right about here:

udp.ipv6UdpTable.ipv6UdpEntry.ipv6UdpLocalAddress.'................'.514.0
= 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0
udp.ipv6UdpTable.ipv6UdpEntry.ipv6UdpLocalAddress.'................'.514.0
= 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0

etc, etc. I've googled this and found a few people
with a similar question, but no answers. Anybody got
any clues?

Many thanks

Sam
;)
