however, what exeactly you want to store? Text? 

create table foo(
mytext varchar(255) not NULL, #### max storage of 255 character
myint int default '0' not NULL);

vs

create table foo(
mytext longtext not NULL,	#### 4294967295
myint int default '0' not NULL);

if the size of the 255 character is not enuf, use longtext.
take a look at http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Column_types.html
might be helpful
