It seems that this is some sort of problem with gettext. If you've
installed gettext then you probably have /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.1
So you could try:

# ln -s /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.1 /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.2
# ldconfig -m /usr/local/lib

and then try & start mozilla.

I'm a bit confused too because I've only got
/usr/local/lib/libintl.so.1 and I've had no problems with that mozilla
tarball.

$ md5 -q mozilla-i386-unknown-freebsd4.5-0.9.9.tar.gz
c7e79e519ea3ff0abfadc79c5a3af9b8

Do a search at Google groups for:
"libintl.so.2" not found

& there's more info.
