Cool, if all i need to run on a server is sshd, squid and DNS I should disable
inetd=2E Whats its purpose anyway, does it stop users from running disallowed
services ???

inetd just "wraps" server programs, not the clients you are still able to
use=2E  sshd is normally run as a standalone daemon, in which case inetd is
not involved=2E  Ditto sendmail and httpd (although any of these *could* be
run from inetd if you wanted)=2E
