This was one of the posts held for moderation due to me using a munged

The good news is that I've now got the ATI Mach64 working with
Xfree86/MPlayer using the standard VESA driver. It's working, but still
not the "ideal" solution.

I gather from reading other posts elsewhere that the nv driver for the
TNT2 card is unlikely to ever have TV out support. The ati driver also
does not currently sipport the TV out function.

I'm still too new to FreeBSD to have even an inkling of where to start
with getting the Linux NVidia drivers installed/working under FBSD.
Obviously, using a driver written for the card would be best since it
would probably take advantage of on-board accelleration function which the
vesa driver doesn't know about.

Has anyone managed this yet? Is it even possible?

Dave
