Please clarify are you trying to implement roming profiles with the users default profile
on a network share? Have you or are you going to use group policies. If the anwser is
yes look at poledit on the windows cd. Install groupol.dll onto the windows9x
workstation, open the local registary with poledit and tell it where to obtain the policy
file do not accept the defaults enter some thing like
\\mysambabox\public-readable-share\default.pol
Oh the fun I've had with this.
This is only one of several ways, let me know if you need more info on this approach
