Oh, that's good news.  It just appears that SuperProbe hasn't been
updated recently.

Are you using XFree86 4?  If so, could you post a copy of
/var/log/XFree86.0.log, which is the log of your server starting up?

If not, try XFree86 4, it's gotten better recently.  :-)
