IDE RAID / USB ADSL q's

Not strictly an answer to your question but it's related so here goes...

My latest experience with IDE-RAID is that the controller (AMI MG80649) on
my new motherboard (I-Will KK266-R) isn't supported so, despite being a
fantastic motherboard, you should probably avoid this unless you happen to
fancy buying two and sending one to a developer with IDE-RAID-fu (the
option presented to me in response to my pr about the driver not
existing).

The alternative is to buy a motherboard and a supported IDE-RAID card -
there seem to be more drivers for these cards than for on-board RAID
chipsets. The AMI MegaRaid cards, for example, are supported as far as I
can see from LINT.
