How do I download new port 'skeletons' in one operation?

I know that freebsd.org has had some server problems recently, but it
looks as if the download method for the port skeletons has changed.

Previously, the download link for port skeletons gave you the contents
of the appropriate application port-skeleton directory conveniently
packaged as a tar archive, which you could extract into place in your
own ports directory and make the port.

Now it appears that the download link just puts you into the appropriate
port-skeleton directory on the ftp-server and just leaves you to get on
with it.. :-(

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as a quick 'mget' in ftp as not all
the files are in the one directory, there's the "files" directory to
fetch as well..

Does anybody know if there is an alternative easy way to fetch a port
skeleton with minimal manual intervention?

(I know I could update my entire ports collection by cvsup, but that
seems a bit excessive!)

Thanks,

David.
