pkg_add hangs with ftp.uk.freebsd.org packages.

Whew! I thought I was hallucinating for a bit. misery loves company
etc... I personally suspect their ftpd server but I could be jumping
to conclusions. They (ftp.uk.freebsd.org) have nice connectivity which
is why I tend to use them. Note that fetch is happy i.e. as a subsitute.
(excluding dependency fetching)

fetch ${PACKAGESITE}package.tgz
pkg_add -v package.tgz
rm package.tgz

Probably something about the pipe into gzip/tar is the problem, but I
couldn't say what.
