When I connect using PPP and begin to download a file (fetching ports) I =
get a message that repeats ...

<date> <time> <host> /kernel : sio error, 1 or more sil0 errors occurred =
(errors : XX )

XX is just a number usually starting at 1 and obviously is the number of =
errors encountered

What is this error, how can I get rid of it. I have tried setting the =
speed of my serial ports in /etc/arc/serial to 115200 and this has made =
my downloads faster, used to be 1.5kbs, and the error is less frequent =
but still there.

Any help appreciciated!

Julian - nubee
