Please excuse the broken threading... my box came back up with sendmail
enabled, rather than Exim, so I lost 12 hours of incoming mail. :(

Ok. The machine is a 200MHz Intel machine, with onbaord AIC 7880. Other
than that it uses a fairly generic chipset. I don't have the motherboard
details to hand. I have been using this box for a couple of years, with
no similar issues, running FreeBSD 4.0 -> 4.3
