Restore Boot Manager?

Hello

I recently had to 'upgrade' the OS on the DOS partition of my dual boot
(with FreeBSD 3.4) machine from win95 to win98 (to cure a problem 95 had
recognising the IDE controller)

This has of course overwritten the boot sector and lost the FreeBSD boot
manager 

I have backups of the important files so I could reinstall FreeBSD but
before doing this I thought I'd check if there was a way to just restore
the boot manager?
