Buildworld faliure

So seeing as today was going to be spent watching the motorsport on the TV, I
decided it was time to bring my home box up to date (from 4.0-RELEASE).

CVSup worked fine, unfortunately the make buildworld fails as follows;

cc -pg -O -pipe -DTERMIOS -DANSI_SOURCE -DNO_IDEA -I/usr/src/secure/lib/libcrypt
o/../../../crypto/openssl/crypto -I/usr/obj/usr/src/secure/lib/libcrypto -DL_END
IAN -DDEVRANDOM=\"/dev/urandom\" -I/usr/obj/usr/src/i386/usr/include -c /usr/src
/secure/lib/libcrypto/../../../crypto/openssl/crypto/x509/x509_v3.c -o x509_v3.p
/usr/src/secure/lib/libcrypto/../../../crypto/openssl/crypto/x509/x509_v3.c: In
function `X509_EXTENSION_create_by_OBJ':
`ex' undeclared (first use in this function)
(Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
for each function it appears in.)
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/src/secure/lib/libcrypto.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/src/secure/lib.
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/src.
*** Error code 1

Not knowing enough about this I can work out what might be the cause. Is it a
problem with the source or is it something wrong with my current setup? I have
SSH working currently.

I've had a quick look in freebsd-stable but can't see anyone else having
reported a problem.

Advice on the best course of action to take would be appreciated.
