You should have a device called /dev/wfd0 now that you need to use instead.

Can anyone help with the correct way to  mount  floppies in a ls-120
drive, on 4.0-Release.

With mount -t  msdos /dev/fd0 /mnt i get

Device not configured.

I can get disks mounted using 'mount -t msdos /dev/afd0 /mnt' but get:

afd0s1: Slice starts beyond end of disk: Rejecting it
afd0s2: Slice starts beyond end of disk: Rejecting it
afd0s3: Slice starts beyond end of disk: Rejecting it
afd0s4: Slice starts beyond end of disk: Rejecting it

and occasionally it refuses to umount
