Thanks Ben,

that solved one of the problems.

Now my fetchmail problem:

My .fetchmailrc file worked fine for about a year, up until the last week. Now
all that happens is : fetchmail fetches the mail and "destroys" it giving me
the following message: fetchmail: SMTP< 550 Access denied. I have included my
.fetchmailrc file and the output of fetchmail when run with "-v" switch.

I have also downloaded and installed the latest fetchmail.5.4.3.tgz from
ftp.freebsd.org. But that didn't help, I received the same errors with
fetchmail.5.0.5.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

-Alex

This is my ~/.fetchmailrc :

set postmaster "alex"
set nobouncemail
set properties ""
poll mail.clara.net with proto POP3
user 'frustum' there with password 'my_password' is frustum alex here \
options keep warnings 3600
