PCCARD help

Okay, yet more questions... sorry folks.

I've solved my rc.conf problem, I copied the one from my work laptop which is
also running 4.0-STABLE (last built sometime last week) and /etc/rc.conf is
now being read. Yippie!

However the NIC, whilst being recognised is not being assigned it's IP address
and so networking is not starting up properly. As this is the first time I've
tried to configure a PCMCIA NIC, I'm sure it's something I'm missing in how
stuff should be ordered.

The /etc/rc.conf looks like this;

--- Begin Included Text ---

# This file now contains just the overrides from /etc/defaults/rc.conf
# please make all changes to this file.

# -- sysinstall generated deltas -- #
linux_enable="YES"
moused_enable="YES"
saver="logo"
keymap="uk.cp850"
gateway_enable="YES"
ifconfig_ep0="inet 192.168.245.25  netmask 255.255.255.0"
defaultrouter="192.168.245.1"
hostname="krycek.dkfl.co.uk"

# -- manually added changes -- #
apm_enable="YES"
apmd_enable="YES"
pccard_enable="YES"
pccard_mem="DEFAULT"
pccard_beep="1"
pccard_ifconfig="YES"

--- End Included Text ---

It looks 'okay' but I'm obviously missing something. If I do a ifconfig ep0
192.168.245.25 manually followed by /etc/pccard_ether ep0 then the card does
come up. Is that how it should be done. Apart from the modifications to
/etc/rc.conf I haven't edited anything.

Is there documentation on this somewhere? I've tried looking but haven't
stumbled upon anything yet. The pccardd and pccard.conf man pages don't quite
go far enough.

Neil.
