I just want to re-iterate this point, Stefan is eager to come and speak
to the UKUG and was committed to attending on the 1st. We knew he had a
prior commitment to fly out to the US sometime after that and it is our
fault that we didn't check exactly when he was flying before booking the
meeting for the 8th. The fact that we hadn't checked the new date with
him was why his session was marked as provisional.

As Roger has already said, he is now preparing a statement that Nik will
present in his absence. Please don't draw any conclusions about his
commitment to FreeBSD from the fact that he is unable to attend since it
is entirely our fault and not in any part his.

We already have ideas for future events and I'm certain that Stefan will
want to speak at them.

Paul.
