I've been participating in the UKUG mailing list since close to when it
was started. I have no problem with getting involved with the wider BSD,
and the wider UNIX (including Linux). The sooner some of the zealots
realize that we're stronger with diversity rather that weaker, the
better. I have no problem with =A335 (+VAT) if it can be demonstrated tha=
t
it's going to a good cause.

However, your implication that the UKUG might become a SIG of the *UUG
is ???, well it aint going to happen, is it? Some of us, particularly
the professionals, may participate in both, but many UKUG members are
impoverished students who have no idea where their next FreeBSD CD's
coming from :-) The UKUG mailing list is friendly, helpful and free
resource, which I think, in it's small way, makes a contribution to the
Cause. Credit to Lee for having the tenacity to set it up in the first
place!

Richard.
