TV card problems

I noticed after sending this that the frame rate was noticably slower
with menus around, so I figures something funny was going on.

ATI Mach64 according to dmesg.  Not very helpful.  I've forgotten
exactly which model it is, since I've built three of my computers over
the last year with ATI cards, they were all slightly different.  (Which
reminds me of another thing which I'll post separately.)  Something like
Xpert at Work, Xpert at Play, or Xpert98.  Full dmesg is attached for the
other info, FWIW it's an ASUS P5A board.
