Newbie: Installing HTML::Table module

Would that be an MS-DOS partition?  If so....

... then these are not legal names for that filesystem unless you
tell the system to mount it with use-win95-longnames options.

While you could do that, it's probably easier to untar it on
an FFS (freebsd native) partition.
