At present, the F77 seems to be based around a f2c converter(?):
Is there a ready do go full port of GNU F77 that can be installed
on FreeBSD UNIX similar to the Linux version?
-----
Also: when trying to compile up a scientific fortran program,
f77 -o platon platon.f xdrvr.c -lX11
I get the following error:
xdrvr.c:33 X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory
etc, etc, etc
These files do exist in the
/usr/X11R6/include/X11/ directory.
Doing varients of the -L option do not seem to be helping
things. e.g.,
f77 -o platon platon.f xdrvr.c -L /usr/X11R6/lib /usr/X11R6/include -lX11
